1. Weight Training

Sweating it out on a treadmill for minutes won’t help if it is not accompanied with weight training. Running, cycling would loosen your muscles and lifting weight would tone them thereby having an overall effect on the muscles so that your skin does not become flabby.

2. Abs Workout

This is the most confusing and threatening question when one is trying to lose weight. Eat less and exercise more is the most common strategy but eventually you’ll become weak if you follow this strategy. You don’t have to cut down much on your calorie intake, just chose your calories wisely. Protein rich diets are always a plus. Egg whites, Soya, chicken, fish etc are potent sources of proteins. High protein diet not only helps you feel satiated early so as to avoid overeating but also help for muscle build up .

Antioxidants are considered to help control weight. Fruits such strawberries, blueberries, citrus fruits, grapefruit, tomatoes, avocados, beetroot, mangoes etc and vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, leafy greens like spinach etc and drinks like wine , green tea, milk etc and nuts like hazelnut, almonds, pistachios etc are rich sources of antioxidants that help control weight.

Water rich fruits and vegetables like water melon ,mushrooms, cucumber, iceberg lettuce, celery, radish, tomatoes, green peppers, cauliflower etc help to reduce calorie intake as they make you fill full early.

Drinking at least 10-12 glasses of water in recommended as it keeps you feel satiated. One should drink water after 30 minutes of having food as it improves digestion and helps control weight.

Say no to sweets and the fried stuff and forget about all the junk food that you can think of.

5. Cheating is a MUST

All protein and no carbs will make jack a dull boy. While you are following a diet plan your body eventually stops giving desirables results. This is due to affected metabolism. Having a cheat is necessary in which you can relish those carbs and fats but still keep a check on your greed. Cheat meal will improve your metabolism and you will get the desired results.

The whole strategy given above can help you shed 15-20 lbs in 2 to 3 months only. Eat right and Sleep tight with 3-4 times of cardio and weight training per week is the best way to lose weight and will give you desired results.
